From the Manufacturer

Philips Energy Saver Compact Fluorescent 14-Watt Dusk to Dawn automatic post light is ideal for use in enclosed post light fixtures. It has a soft white light, similar to incandescent light, with a built-in photosensor to turn the light on at dusk and off at dawn. This 14-Watt Dusk to Dawn post light bulb replaces your current 60-Watt incandescent A19 and lasts at least 7 years. Built-in sensor automatically turns the light on at night and off in the morning.
Light switch should always be left on as the bulb will shut off on its own when it senses daylight. Outdoor use requires a weather protected fixture. For best performance, do not cover or block photosensor or use in fixtures that have a built-in photocell.
Do not use with dimmers. Some electronic timer and photosensor switches contain dimming circuitry, so before using such a switch, check with its manufacturer to ensure compatibility with electronic CFL bulbs. Do not use with emergency exit fixtures or lights.
Dusk to Dawn lamps installed in close proximity to each other can affect performance and cause on and off cycling. Multiple Dusk to Dawn lamps should be separated by at least 10 feet.
Certain fixtures with lower transparency can potentially reflect the light back into the sensor, causing on and off cycling.
Outdoor use requires a weather protective fixture. Do not used where directly exposed to water.
Before replacing, turn off power and let lamp cool to avoid electrical shock or burn.
Not for use in a completely enclosed fixture.
This device complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules.
